The
earthquake not only caused severe infrastructure damage
but also affected the livelihood of millions. To give
support to families whose livelihood was lost, ERRA paid
Rs 18,000 Livelihood Cash Grant to each family over a
period of 6 months; however, the grant worth Rs 410.526
Million was extended to 22,807 most vulnerable families
for another 6 months. Community Livelihood
Rehabilitation Plans (CLRP) caters for village level
development plans where plans are identified by
communities. Communities contribute 10%
towards the total cost of project, where ERRA
contributes a maximum of Rs 0.75
Million for each village and Rs 7.5 Million for each
Union Council.
